Task Durations – Touch Time

When Planning a Project:

Exepron’s unique intelligence relies on a Touch Time for the Task Durations.

The tactical location of feeding buffers and the Project buffer can absorb  ‘normal variation’ delays in most cases.
All Task Duration times in Exepron CCPM should be Touch Time. That is time without safety or any time contingency.
For Exepron’s Intelligent Algorithms to provide guidance: the Early Warning (EW), Project Risk Quotient (PRQ), and RED Task (Immediate Attention Required), response sensitivity is required. Applying Touch Time for Task Durations makes these intelligent signals practical and sensitive to providing the necessary guidance to deliver projects on On-Time and To-Budget.
Adding safety time within Tasks only de-sensitizes these intelligent signals, which delays and increases untimely the effort and the cost of corrective intervention.
