The Project Buffer and Feeding Buffer provide adequate protection to the Task and Task dependency. These Buffers are tactically located in the project network, able to absorb ‘normal variation’ delays in most cases. Remember, active Project Management means an early response to Exepron signals.
All Task Duration times in Exepron CCPM should be Touch Time. That is, users should add duration times without safety or time contingency.
For Exepron’s INTELLIGENT signals: the Early Warning (EW), Project Risk Quotient (PRQ), and RED Task (Immediate Attention Required) feature to function correctly, response sensitivity is required.
Touch Time for the Task Durations makes these intelligent signals sensitive and able to provide timely guidance that delivers projects on On-Time and To-Budget.
Adding safety time within Tasks only de-sensitizes these intelligent signals, which delays effort and increases the cost of corrective intervention.
