Task Details – Cost Summary – Cost Tracking

Cost Summary Permissions: Only Users granted Permission to “Update Resource Type Costs and Cost Summary” can access or view the Cost Summary tab. Set Permissions by User in Settings/User Details/Permissions.

When adding Settings / Resource Types: the default Rates per Unit and default Units created in Settings / Rates and Settings / Units will be applied. Add the Resource Type to a Cost Group and as a Fixed or a Variable cost.

 

Planning: These defaults will appear and can be adjusted when adding Resource Types to a Task.

Planned Work Hours – Cost Summary
The Resource Types and the Assigned Quantity will auto-populate and
corresponds with the information entered on the Yellow sticky or in the Task
Details/Resource Types tab.

Planned Duration (Days): Planned Duration auto-populates and displays the
Planned Duration (Days) for this task and corresponds with the information
entered on the Yellow sticky or in the Task Details/Resource Types tab.

Rate/Unit: Enter the Planned Rate per Unit. The Rate/Unit entered can be
edited at any time.

Total Cost: The Planned Total Cost will auto-calculate. Total Cost will recalculate
when the Rate/Unit is edited.
