Global Team Collaboration

Global Team Collaboration in Exepron from different online locations 

Exepron’s cloud-based Project Management software solution allows collaboration with colleagues in real-time, worldwide through the internet via your Mac®, PC or iPad® .

Project Teams can PlanSchedule, Execute, and Analyse projects and should follow this procedure to view all changes in real-time while collaborating on a project.

Users and Project Teams can access, collaborate and view a project worldwide from multiple online locations in real time.  

Global Team Collaboration Procedure 

  1. All Team members log in to the Exepron Account.
  2. Click on the Project Name.  Appoint a Team Leader to coordinate the communication.
  3. Users will be required to use an external Video Conferencing Application to communicate between Team members. 

When in Planning:  

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and will designate which Team Member controls any changes or additions to the Project Network.

Individual Users’ Browser screen view will change when any individual User makes a change to their screen view.

During Planning, a Team of Users can collaborate and:  

  • Agree on assigning Project Managers. 
  • Allocate the number of Resource Types available in a Resource Pool.  
  • Build or review Project Networks. 
  • Assign Resources to Tasks. 
  • Jointly determine Task Durations.  
  • “Re-plan” a Project to select a new, acceptable Due Date as required.  

 

 

In the CCPM Schedule view: 

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and will designate which Team Member controls any changes or additions to the Project.

During Scheduling, Project Teams can: 

  • Review a Project waiting in “Pipeline”. 
  • Determine when a Project can be “Started”. 
  • Change the priority of a Project in the Dynamic Drum and select the Drum Resource.
  • Review the Resource Loading; select to include Projects in Pipeline when reviewing the Charts. 

In the Project Dashboard: 

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and will designate which Team Member controls any changes or additions to the Project. 

During Execution, Users can jointly: 

  • Review all Projects in the Executive Portfolio Dashboard. 
  • Review the performance of a specific Project in the Project Dashboard.  
  • Collaborate on updating Tasks. 
  • Assign additional Resources to selected Tasks to expedite a Project. 
  • Review current and future Resource loading requirements.  
  • Re-plan a Project under certain conditions, e.g., scope change or significant delays.
