In the CCPM and PERT view screen, Click Create A Version to create an exact version of the Project in its current state.
Creating a Version will not impact the original project in Execution.
Creating a Version from a Project with ‘Started’ status, the version will be created in ‘Frozen’ status so that the Portfolio Resource Loading will not be artificially overloaded.
Re-Plan a Version of a Started Project while continuing to execute the original Project during the Re-Plan process.
Multiple Versions of a Project can be created. Create a Version of a project in any status.
New Versions created (except new Versions of Started Projects) will display in the same
Status as the original project e.g. a new Version of a Pipeline project, will display in Pipeline status, and a new Version of an Accepted project will display in Accepted status.
Click Create A Version. Select if you would like Exepron to display the new version of your project.
Re-Plan a new Version of the Project without impacting the original project in Execution.
